Tellos Grill Cafe in Port Washington

The food we ordered was really delicious and the fried ice cream dessert was amazing! We had a wonderful waitress and received great service. The prices were very reasonable.

Food here is always so good. Recommend ordering food (enchiladas, taco's etc,) Mexican/ Mole style. Also recommend springing for the Don Julio premium margaritas.. totally worth it.

The food was delicious. The service wasn't bad it was just a little slow even though they weren't very busy.

Don't let the unique menu fool you, they really do it all well! Service was fantastic.

The atmosphere is more like a bar than a restaurant. But don't let that fool you. The food!! It's about the food which is very good authentic Mexican. Good service. The prices are reasonable for food. Drinks can be pricey. The menu is very large and diversified. They have breakfast. American food as well as others. So if you don't want Mexican food. You can have other things. But the largest part of the menu is traditional Mexican food. The place is plain and basic. No frills! Hence the 4 stars!! But if you want good food and are in the area. I recommend going here.

Excellent service very good food I had 3 beef Taco meal with beans and rice. Very big portions you won't go away hungry my wife had Shrimp ceviche and said it was fabulous fresh flavorful I also had Chicken dumpling soup which tasted homemade and was very good. Lastly the Baklava was very good.

This restaurant is classified as Greek. Should be Mexican. Fantastic Food Every Time We Have Stopped. Highest Marks I Could Give A Restaurant.

Very good food and great service. Our one concern was that none of the staff wore a mask during this Covid19 Pandemic. Almost as if there was nothing to worry about. Would not return to this place unless we knew for sure that the restaurant employees would be required to wear masks to protect themselves and customers. I hate wearing the mask as much as anyone...just need to stay safe during these risky times.

My wife and I have been going to Tello's every other Friday for the past 5 or 6 years! Great food, generous portions and a very friendly staff. A cozy dining experience in a very quaint lakeside community.

THE BEST! Try to go there a couple times a week. A huge family restaurant making you feel like family. Menu is a Bible. Tons of food per order. Has Mexican, Greek & American food.

Waitress was good. Food was pretty good. Bumbed that ladies night for Margaritas on Thursdays didnt start till 7. Tried finding the information on there website or Facebook but nothing was listed.

Food at Tellos is amazing!! Weve been here soo many times and have never had a disappointmenting meal. Even during the pandemic, tellos is offering bogo meals and weve had them multiple times. The gyros are soo good and turn into 3 meals since there is so much food. The owner, Angel is such a nice guy and is amazing to his staff. I will always go to Tellos

One of our favorite family places to eat and relax. Delicious breakfast, large portions, usually have left overs. Bar is comfortable, sports on TV's,other area colorfully updated for a fun chat. Variety of different options, Greek, Spanish inspired dishes and many traditional American ones. Friendly staff.

The mole sauce is especially yummy, as is the pastor. I'd like to see specialty margaritas added to the menu (Golden Margarita with Grand Marnier?)

Angel is the best restaurant owner ever! He keeps me coming back everytime! Fantastic margaritas and amazing food. Can't wait to come back!!

Let me tell you something about Tello's. I've been going here for 6 years now. The frozen margaritas here are better than the margaritas you get at the INVENTOR of the frozen margarita - Mariano's in Texas. Tellos is the winner in my book all day for a margarita (whaaaaat???). Never had food here that didn't taste fresh, even on a Monday. The portions are pretty big and almost everything reheats great at home if you have leftovers. Breakfast dishes offered are super tasty for a Mexican restaurant. The dining room is fun to be in because it's JUNGLE THEMED. If you come here, get one of their authentic dishes or a seafood dish and you won't be disappointed. (Dont forget the frozen margarita). It gets busy at peak hours, so be forgiving. They do their best.

Bloody Mary's were a perfect start to breakfast. The bacon strip on it was cooked to perfection in my opinion. The country skillet was excellent! One of the best I have had. Waitress did a excellent job 👏

I have been eating here for many years! The food and drinks are delicious, many great menu options and great service!They have plenty of dinning indoors and outdoors!! I highly recommend eating here!

Food was great and our server took good care of our party despite having two stations in two separate parts of the restaurant. Very busy night but the endless (very tasty) chips and salsa and expectation level setting by staff when we arrived kept us busy until the entrees arrived. Happily, they were worth the wait!

Awesome experience with my fiancee we both had vegetable burritos and margaritas. Food, service and atmosphere were great. I would suggest this place to anyone wanting an inexpensive but excellently done traditional experience.

Great food. I got a burrito platter that was ridiculously big for the price. Worth every penny and it was priced great and the meals were amazing. All of the locals said it was the place to eat and they were right!

Absolutely fantastic! The food tasted super amazing (I highly recommend the seafood stuffed tilapia 🤤) and the portions are HUGE! It's a very nice atmosphere that's welcoming to both families and for a nice date night! For real though, you're missing out if you don't hit this place up! Also the server Kristy was phenomenal! Super on top of things without being pushy or annoying and was extremely helpful. Can't wait to come back!

The chicken wings were the best I have ever had! Upon ordering I was told they take 25 to 30 minutes to prepare and I'm tellin you so worth the wait!! Thank you so much for an awesome culinary experience. I will be back with friends to share this experience.

We know the owner, Angel, and have been eating there for 15yrs. It's family run & they want to make sure you're satisfied. Prices are very affordable and u get Huge portions! It's always a double to triple meal for me. As for Angel, he started off learning authentic Greek cooking. And it's done Extremely well. Then he passed on his native Mexican recipes, that are very tasty. They've got all sorts of American food & it's excellent as well. I Love their food & this is a favorite place for me & many I know, to go to! :) It also has a beautifully put together interior, that also includes a large outside seating area. Definitely check it out!

Tellos is a solid restaurant with a huge menu that offers a variety of food options. I've personally had their gyro dish more than once and it comes with a huge helping of food. I've really enjoyed eating here for lunch and dinner, that said the two times I've had breakfast here I was not as impressed.
